Guest Announcement: Lee Carter – Artist On Mark Millar’s ‘Jupiter’s Legacy: Finale’
As well as the Mighty Mark Millar joining us, we also have Lee Carter, one of the artists who’s worked with him recently on Jupiter’s Legacy: Finale, a miniseries published by Dark Horse Comics that brought the curtains down on Millar’s superhero generational soap opera that began in 2013! That’s some saga.

Having worked as the artist on Jupiter’s Legacy: Finale, Carter has also built up a remarkable resume and body of work, having worked with 2000 AD, Ahoy Comics, Boom! Studios, 451 Media Group, Top Cow and many more in not just comics but concept art for film, TV and video games. And you can catch him at our convention this September.

“Scratch Comics was founded in April 2022 by Publisher and EIC Shane Chebsey. Shane has been publishing comics since 1994 and in 2006 also started running major comic conventions.
The aim of Scratch Comics is to work with creators from every part of the comic industry and beyond to produce high quality comic books and graphic novels for your enjoyment
It’s important for Scratch to work with both experienced professionals as well as new emerging artists and writers from all walks of life to give them the opportunity to get their work published and indeed to be paid fairly for their work
We believe in true diversity of comics and comic creators, judging every project that comes our way on it’s individual merits and never on the creator’s background, age, ethnicity, gender or disabilities. For us it’s all about the standard of work or the potential of the individual creator.
At Scratch anyone can be published if their work is what we are looking for.
This is something very important to us.
We publish creator owned titles and do not accept unsolicited submissions outside of specific creator call outs. So please do not not send us unsolicited scripts or portfolios.”
Food Vendors: Mustard, Infinity Pizzas And Oh My D’oh!
If you’re coming to the comic con and planning to spend the day, then you’re going to get hungry. As well as the All Saints Community Centre Cafe (and a bar), we will have three local independent food stalls there too, all serving something different. We have Infinity Pizzas, who serve “stonebaked, plant-based pizzas on a freshly made Neapolitan-style base made from premium Italian pizza flour” and are 100% vegan, as well as Mustardfor the meat eaters, who specialise in burgers, as well as something for dessert with Oh My D’oh! serving up artisan doughnuts. That’s quite the menu and quite the choice.
