As part of our commitment to the wider community of Kings Heath, High Vis Festival is joining forces with local DJs to launch an all-new arts and music evening at The Station Pub in Kings Heath. Our launch night is going to be Friday 11th September with a basketball focussed drinka and draw ahead of our annual Basketball in the Park event in Kings Heath Park. But, if you’re around on Friday 18th September, we will be running a comic con pre-launch drink and draw at The Station to get the weekend off to the right start. Come on down and create your own silly superhero or vile vaudevillian villain, or even create your own comic book front cover. We’ll be starting at 7 pm and going on till late with a blend of alternative music, indie and hip hop. With a bit of a comic book theme too. I’ve had a word with the DJs.
